Philosophy
|
A different take on wedding photography from the ground up. My Wedding Photography Philosophy is simple really. When you book me as your wedding photographer, I am the photographer that will shoot your wedding. And I always have a trusted second photographer with me as well, to make sure every moment of your wedding is captured. We both shoot with a hands off, photo-journalistic approach, producing natural images with a minimum of interference. Of course there are times when a little posing and direction is needed (Family group portraits are a good example), but I have to admit I hate the idea of fake laughter, goofy outdated plastic looking poses, and worst of all, the all time classic “mock cutting of the cake.” I mean seriously, if you are not actually going to cut the cake, what is the point in capturing an image of 2 people standing next to it with a knife… ? Yes, you are right, I am passionate about it, because you deserve better than that. We all value images that are real, that are full of life and love and joy, and that is what I do best. My packages start with a minimum of 8 hours coverage, to make sure we capture every important moment of your day, from your Dress still hanging and the Groom polishing his shoes, all the way through to your first dance and the real cutting of the cake! Wedding photography is my life and thats why my philosophy is simple. |

You might have guessed by now that I am a little different than most, as so it should be no surprise that I don’t really have standard “off the shelf” style packages for my photography. Instead, I prefer to build a custom package that is suited to each of my adorable couples. Then we both know you will be getting exactly what you want with regard to proofing, print and album options.
